European Cooperation

The main goal for the cooperation is learing and exchanging of knowledge and experiences, and to communicate state of the art technology and good practice from Europe to Norwegian municipalities and businesses.
International cooperation is important to keep the Agency and its target groups up to date on the technological development within energy efficiency and converting to renewable energy in Europe.
The Agency will also promote the concept of regional and local energy agencies to contribute to the establishement of more Norwegian energy agencies, by lobbying towards national and regional governments.
